The pattern of flops continues in the Middle East peace talks between Israel and the Palestinians with possible impeachment of Israeli Prime Minister Ehud Olmert, accused of taking bribes. With the possible ouster of Olmert, it is almost certain that Annapolis and its subsequent talks will collapse too.
A US millionaire testifying in a corruption probe that could end Israeli Prime Minister Ehud Olmert's career said on Tuesday he gave him envelopes stuffed with cash to fund his political ambitions and perhaps his taste for high living. Morris Talansky was giving evidence to a Jerusalem district court as part of a criminal investigation into claims that Olmert received tens of thousands of dollars in illegal funds in the years before he became prime minister in 2006. The 75-year-old American Jewish financier said in sworn testimony that could later be used at a trial that he gave envelopes stuffed with cash to Olmert and his assistant over a period of 15 years. "I gave some money to Olmert for his (election) campaigns in 1991 and 1992... He told me that he would prefer cash, and I gave him first some money from my private funds, then some money collected in the United States on his behalf," said Talansky, according to Israeli public radio. The Zionist plot is to prevent the return of a Palestinian state, the handing over of stolen lands from the Palestinians and the return of refugees who left the state since 1967. The current PM is probably willing to accept the fact that these three elements are vital to end the Jewish-Palestinian conflict thus he is the target of the Zionist lobbyists. In 2002, the Saudi Arabian King, Abdullah Al-Saoud proposed an unprecedented peace deal to the Israelis and the Arabs based on the three major elements mentioned above. It was flatly rejected by the Jewish regime. This proved that the Jewish regime was not interested in a peace deal. Now that the Americans are pressing hard to polish their foreign policy flops by getting a peace deal signed before the end of the G.W. Bush reign, the Zionists are at it again. Nevertheless it is impossible to understand the doings of the Israeli regime and Israeli nation. In every single time that peace is near with the Palestinians, the Israeli leader is suddenly in danger of losing his job as Prime Minister and he will eventually lose the job and end up in the dustbin of history if he is not salvaged by the ‘rabis’ of Israeli politics. Yitzhak Rabin had his body filled with holes from gun shots fired by an Israeli ‘heretic’ – an extremist for real – just while the world thought the Israelis had finally come down to earth to accept the existence of a Palestinian state. Shimon Peres lost his prime ministerial post after he was simply thrown out of the PM office by a rebellious parliament while, once again, the world thought the Israelis were going to announce the creation of Palestine. Benjamin Netanyahu, Ehud Barak and now Ehud Olmert gave the world a glimpse of hope that Israel will allow the existence of a Palestinian state. The world was duped after Netanyahu lost his post as PM and after Barak ran for his life. They duped the world into believing the Israelis really want peace and want to establish an enemy state next to them. Today, Olmert is being chased by skeletons in his drawers and they will surely scalp him too in order to delay the process of peace, the process of creating and establishing a state for the poor Palestinians. History has the knack of repeating itself! Why is Israel anti-peace and why do they throw away the PM that finally subdues to the reality of a Palestinian state? Maybe it is the nature of the Jewish people and the Zionists altogether to escape death from the claws of Nazism and to beat the Pharaoh in his own game but to turn amok and attempt at destroying another civilization simply because they want to remain on top, to win and to keep land that does not belong to them? Israel's ground offensive is reaching a critical stage where its forces may soon have to face Hamas fighters on their chosen killing ground, the narrow, winding alleyways of Gaza City.
A gold mania could happen.
Here's why... Gold manias begin when investors flee real estate, currencies, bonds, and stocks because their prospects are so bleak. We're close to that right now.

LAHORE, Pakistan — When Muhammad Saad Iqbal arrived home here in August after more than six years in American custody, including five at the military prison at Guantánamo Bay, Cuba, he had difficulty walking, his left ear was severely infected, and he was dependent on a cocktail of antibiotics and antidepressants.
