Facebook, Youtube, movie download portals with millions of registered users globally as well as Friendster – which is the number one websites in many countries including the Philippines – will be included in the database. The Federal Bureau of Investigation is spending US1 billion to create a new modern database using biometrics to monitor millions of suspects inside the US and outside. The database will carry iris, palm and finger print databases of individuals suspected of terrorism and of being anti-American. The FBI is also launching a bid to seek direct access to all online social networking and email databases, including Yahoo, Google, Facebook, and lesser known ones such as Jhoos or Muslimmatrimonial. The agency suspects that terrorists, including the Hizbullah movement in Lebanon – which it considers a terror organization – are using such networks to pass messages via the internet. Senior British police officials are talking to the FBI about an international database to hunt for major criminals and terrorists. The US-initiated programme, “Server in the Sky”, would take cooperation between the police forces way beyond the current faxing of fingerprints across the Atlantic. Allies in the “war against terror” - the US, UK, Australia, Canada and New Zealand - have formed a working group, the International Information Consortium, to plan their strategy. . Biometric measurements, irises or palm prints as well as fingerprints, and other personal information are likely to be exchanged across the network. One section will feature the world’s most wanted suspects. Police forces of America’s allies would be signing in on the program and would offer the database on a quickly accessible basis. The FBI will carry out its investigations from the offices of the US Embassies across the world where the FBI normally has a small team that secures the Embassy buildings.
“Server in the Sky is an FBI initiative designed to foster the advanced search and exchange of biometric information on a global scale. Once complete it will provide a technical forum for member nations to submit biometric search requests to other nations. It will maintain a core holding of the world’s ‘worst of the worst’ individuals. Any identification of these people will be sent as a priority message to the requesting nation.” Facebook, Youtube, movie download portals with millions of registered users globally as well as Friendster – which is the number one websites in many countries including the Philippines – will be included in the database. Access to the personal and private information of the registered users will be made available instantly to the FBI and to other nations police upon request and it will be as swift as sending an email, unless the servers are down. However, the servers will surely come under attack by hackers who are opposing the ‘Server in the Sky’ concept citing privacy of the individuals and human rights violations. They also say the civil rights of the people registered on the social networking websites would be violated altogether in the frenetic search for terror suspects. Other criminals such as drug warlords and drug pushers will also be identified by the sophisticated program that can scan pictures and match them with sketches from the police. It will also match other records that could be obtained from medical practices in the future, though this is not part of the plan in the immediate. There are information circulating that the FBI would surely request those dental records and other medical records to be added in the ‘Server in the Sky’ network. The reason is that Osama Bin Laden for example is known to be suffering from back problems but it is almost impossible to trace where he does his dialysis. The FBI hopes that by including medical records, it will help the nations that joins the network – all nations will join sooner or later we are told – and it will make it easy to determine who is having a dialysis session and where. All these will be live on the net and accessible by the FBI on the network but in the event it is delayed information that is submitted to the network, there will still be the possibility for the FBI to investigate through its Embassy postings in the countries where suspects are possibly undergoing medical treatment. This, the sources told WorldFutures, will help the FBI gain an upper hand and more time to search and destroy or capture the suspects that could mean harm to the US. It is not surprising though that Malaysia is said to have granted an Israeli linked company to upgrade its software used by the local police. If that is the case, the sources said, and then it will be easier for the FBI to access the Malaysian database of criminals and suspected terrorists or Islamic militants instantly. It is possible too that another Israel based company is behind the creation of the software that will support the servers for the “Server in the Sky’ project, we were told.

A gold mania could happen.
Here's why... Gold manias begin when investors flee real estate, currencies, bonds, and stocks because their prospects are so bleak. We're close to that right now.

Another horrible story of American inhumanity
We publish this opinion article from the Monday Morning newspaper published in Beirut, Lebanon. Article is written by Gwynne Dyer.
Very few people in Jakarta commented on the 'rising' sentiments towards the bombers but deep inside many think the bombers – especially Imam Samudra – went to the extent of bombing Bali due to their rigid beliefs regarding 'Maksyat' or illicit life styles.

The American constitution, the basis of democracy in the USA is indeed a good example of how a democratic system can be hijacked by a group of people with an evil agenda. Democracy is violated in Kenya too where Kenya's opposition movement, which is challenging the election in December that Kenya's president, Mwai Kibaki, narrowly won. In Palestine, the legitimate government is now being suffocated...What democracy is it?
