The Muslims are oppressed
![]() The 'pair of devils' running the world... The Muslim world is facing the impending peril of losing to the rest of the world and this is the big picture that we get when we read what the International press has say about Afghanistan, Iraq, and Palestine and even about Sudan or Somalia. However these are the big pictures portrayed by an anti-Muslim world media united to bring shame and harm to the Islamic world. In this article we are going to see a more localized view of the problems that seems so persistent in the Muslims world. Related Item: Is the Muslim world powerless? Are the Muslims uneducated? The real question is ‘Why are the Muslims the target of so much violent attacks by the super powers’? There are no simplistic answers to these questions but there is one fact that should be acknowledged in the quest for an answer to the problems that has plagued the Muslim world since the end of the ‘cold war’. The Muslim world has definitely skidded from its path and is seemingly crashing in the abyss of history with the various problems we are facing on a daily basis. However there is more than that in the real world and for one, I can say that we should not always believe what we see or hear in this world of today. One of the factors that have contributed to the lack of progress in the Muslim world is the massive oppression that the Muslims are subjected to from Afghanistan to Zanzibar. Islam itself is being kept in a nutshell, well secured from expressing itself while the true forbearers of the flag of Islam are either on the run or in jail if they are not fighting their way (with Rocket Propelled Grenades -RPG’s - in their hands) against the new form of colonialization of their lands.
![]() RPG armed Muslims fighting Western oppression? Oppression is the result of the terrible situation that we see today in the Muslim world. This form of regressive de-Islamization is the core “international” policy of a western world that is weary of losing its grip on its control of the world. Now it is up to the readers to decide. Do they believe in the CNN, BBC, AFP reports on the Muslim world or would they take a more difficult route of finding what is the core problems affecting us before they decide?
The
new form of oppressive policies by the new Roman Empire based in Washington is currently contributing
to the management of public opinion on a world wide basis. The aim is to present Muslim
leaders as ‘rogue’, ‘murderous’ and ‘untrustworthy’. On the other hand, the propaganda machines of
the West, the CNN, BBC, AFP and Reuters etc are here to polish the image of the
Western leaders. They will tell you George W. Bush is not a monkey whose hand
is not stuck in a bottle due to the greed of the US President to grab the oil
of Iraq and the poppy cultivation
of Afghanistan. The western propaganda machines are thus very efficient in presenting the views of the leaders of the West that it has resulted in a loss of faith of the Muslims in certain regions. The loss of faith of the Muslims have thus resulted in the belief that Muslims are not educated, are redundant and are not making use of the chances to progress. It has also led many to believe that Muslims are powerless, useless and undeserving of the claims that we often profess, that of being the forbearers of the truth. It is this massive oppression by the oppressive nature of the super powers of the world today that we must look into before we run down the Muslim Ummah as redundant. The question to ask is how can we believe that in 60 years of ‘freedom’ from colonialization and having lived through the era of the ‘cold war’ as one of the prime victims of the US and of the USSR – the defunct Communist Russia – can the Muslims show progress? It took the West some 250 years of occupation of Muslim land to deconstruct the Muslim world and divide the lands of Islam into mini nations. It took them 4 years to deconstruct Iraq and hand its population a civil war that killed too many for us to remain silent. It took the same western world a few months to create Israel in the midst of the Arab land to keep the Muslims in check and dominate their lands. How to educate the Muslim children under the threat of the daily Israeli incursions in the Gaza strip and in the West Bank in occupied Palestine? Who would you want to educate when they babies of Fallujah, the famous town of Iraq were gassed with ‘white smoke’ that killed them and their parents instantly? The US did that, the British helped them and the coalition of the willing assisted, watched and hailed the Western victory in Iraq. How do you want to build universities in Sudan, Egypt and even in Zanzibar when the Muslims there are not allowed to receive aid and the UN, the institution that is supposedly built to represent the people of the world, is turned into a US platform for the deconstruction of the Muslims? How do you want to control the world and become powerful when your leaders who are not professing wars are arrested and jailed and some are even made to take to their heels and go in hiding? Do you believe the western media that tells you Osama Bin Laden is a war monger when you see every day in the news that it is the American army and the British army that are oppressing people in Iraq, Afghanistan and soon Syria or Egypt? How can you build your Muslim land when they keep bombing your factories, hospitals, bridges and even houses like the Israelis did in Lebanon last year. This is what the US army did in Afghanistan, Iraq and in Sudan under the leadership of Bush and Bill Clinton? How to build a population of literates when you literally forbid Islam from being the way of living of the Muslims and you discount the Quraan as part of the ‘literacy’ process of a population? Is it true that Mali for example has a population of 50% illiterate? Let us see the situation in Mali for example. The country is largely Muslim dominated. They speak Arabic primarily and 99% percent of the people reads and understands the Quraan. Yet the world says the Malians are illiterate? The same applies to Sudan, Saudi Arabia, Egypt and even Indonesia. When it comes to the Muslim world, there are definite flaws in the figures presented by the non-Muslim world. This must be taken into account as part of the oppression against Islam. We are told that Spain for example produces more than half of what the countries of the Organization of Islamic Countries (OIC) does. What does Spain produce? Does it not export processed goods which it imports from Morocco, Tunisia and even Libya? It still has to source from the Islamic world where most of the world’s resources are still to be found. The real question to ask is what it will take to redress the situation in the Muslim world. And here too the answer is not simplistic. To become powerful the Muslims need to be united. That is the core of the problem of the Muslim world today. We tend to believe that United We Fall and Divided We Stand. That should end. We should unite to fend off the oppressors and there are ways to do that. We have to profess peace and promote equality among the Muslims first. We also have to help other Muslim communities in the world to rid themselves of the division that has stalled their progression. How to do that? One of the most efficient ways of doing that is by being positive and by loving our Muslim brothers and sisters. We cannot dismiss Osama Bin Laden as well as we cannot admit Bush/Blair and who else in the Western world in our mist. We must be strong to dismiss these ‘evil’ Western leaders and tell them right in their face that Islam is a nation of unity, not a religion of division. Believe it or not, we have more scientists in the Islamic world than the western media would want you to know. We also have more resources than the west and we altogether have the one of the most intelligent and most brilliant people in this world. We are powerless not because we are not educated; we are powerless because we are divided and oppressed and our children from Palestine, to Iraq to Sudan and Somalia or even in parts of Asia are not allowed to have the life that some of us Muslims are having elsewhere. True we lack education but the root of the problem to this lacking in education is not that we are not interested in education. We have to understand that many of our people, brothers and sisters, are facing massive oppression from their own government – which is lackeys and slaves of the Western world. Comments (3)

Mr Kazi,You are one heck of a racist. Why do you have to see the world as divided between Muslims and non-Muslims.Governments do what they they have to do for their self interest,it has nothing to do with race or religion. It is narrow minded people like you who have caused so many people to be suspicious of Muslims.

Mr. Kazi is wrong in identify the pair of devils running the world. It is Israel that is manipulating all the devils and evil forces against the poor masses , especially against Muslims.World leaders are just a pack of card in the hand of Israel, which play the way it wants.Dr. Mahathir once told that " Israel is ruling the world by proxy" and he was correct. We did not have any cast, creed, or religious difference during the cold war era because we were the cards against Russia and China and communism. We were welcomed as Muslims in US,UK, EUROPE and elsewhere as best friends. We were very trustful allies of the west. We were in SEATO, CENTO, BAGDAD PACT, etc with America and UK etc. After the demise of Russian domination we were made axis of evil, terrorists, fundamentalist, uncivilsed by the very people who used us in their favour. Now we have become the sour grapes. We have to blame our stupidity and none else.

Hi rila
Devils remain devils. Bush and Blair were the two devils and we have one left now...soon he may be dumped in the dustbin of history too. Nevertheless, as per what u quote as Mahathir saying that Israel is running the world by proxy, I beg to differ with the Malaysian leader. The US and Britain are the two major leaders and powers that brought so much destruction on the world today. Israel is dependent on their 'cash' in hard US currency to survive and I am pretty sure not all the Jews are in favor of Israel being a Zionist dominated state. If Israel were to rule the world, Iran would be a gone case by now and we the Muslims would be in goulags and this website would be inexistant. However, thanks for your views but since being wrong or right on such issues depends on a person's perception, I woudl say that I am still waiting for evidence from Tun Mahathir or from you on how much Israel is ruling the world by proxy! Thanks Helo Lim Kheak Wei, I think you have a problem with the Muslims. By what you posted here, it is clear that you are either a western boot licker or a person who does not want to accept facts. Thanks for posting your silly message anyway. Write comment

A gold mania could happen.
Here's why... Gold manias begin when investors flee real estate, currencies, bonds, and stocks because their prospects are so bleak. We're close to that right now.
