In the blame game, the West is the winner as it controls the medias. You like it or not, the satellites are beaming the western version of facts (fait accomplies) and their views and ranting. The Muslim views are hidden and lost in the cacophony of 'pre-emptive' attacks against Muslim fighters whom the western media willing calls 'terrorists'.
Barack Obama has won in the US but this does not give him a blank cheque to change the world. He has 4 years to battle the extremists who launched the war on terror against Islam and the Muslims and nothing so far can make him claim to be a winner in this challenge. The extremists factions in Europe, Washington and other parts of the world will subdue Obama in the end. Unless... I see one thing: Actions by some and reactions by others. If there is not ill will, there will be no violent reactions from some quarters. The Muslim world is run by 'emotions' and by the former pride of a great civilization that was an empire on its own. Its collapse, due to the estrangement of Turkey after world war 2, caused a lot of pain and damages to the Muslim world. Hence, this to me explains many of the perverted views about Islam and the Muslims. I believe strongly that many in the Western world want to re-establish the European golden age of domination, of colonial powers and of slavery of the other races. To achieve this feudal revival, the western world invented the Terrorism factor. Yes terror exists among Muslims, yes it has done damages but then the damages done by the 'westerners' as I call them - not mixing you and those who think like you in this - western groups that are extremists by all means in the war on terror is far too greater. The Muslims will not put the lid on this damage for generations to come and the images of Saddam Hussein (seen as a dracula by the west by as a hero by many Muslims) will dominate the relations between the Western world and the Muslim world. No Obama, no King Abdullah of Saudi Arabia or of Jordan and no Anwar Ibrahim of Malaysia will succeed in 'bridging' the gap that has been created between the West and Islam because and simply because the Muslim fighters in Afghanistan and those in Iraq, Somalia and Sudan or even the Hamas and the Hizbollah in the Middle East while not forgetting the Moro fighters in Southern Philippines and the simmering rebellion in South Thailand aided by Mujahideen Muslim fighters from Thailand will not rest in peace. They will not be at peace when they review the pictures and videos of the murders of the Bush-Blair tandem in the countries that their nations have basically and generally annexed to theirs, conquered, dominated and now control! To these fighters and they are in growing numbers if you people do not want to believe me, the war on terror is the real spike that has given them the reason of being and the reason of living and Bush-Blair out of power and dead tomorrow will not stop this fire from raging and the new leaders in the Musilm world and the West, including the popular Obama will not be able to atone and diminish the anger that has raged in the Muslim world since the American and western invasion of Afghanistan in 2001. These are not my views but that of a majority of the suffering lot in the Muslim world. They do not think Obama will change the course of history and they do not believe the Muslims who are rubbing shoulders with the westerners will help their cause and ease their sufferings. They believe the leaders in the Muslim world who are speaking to the charlatans of the west and eating and drinking with them on the name of Islam for peace are just traitors who are selling the Muslim community to the devil. Who allows me to say so? Why am I able to write this way, in such an offensive manner? Once again I mention it clearly here: This is not the views of this writer nor that of the WorldFutures organization. It is the views of the Muslims who speaks to us from Pakistan, Arabia, Asia and Africa and also from those who are not afraid to speak while living in Europe and the Americas. There are some Muslim businessmen and leaders who are hiding behind pseudo 'Islamic' banners in a bid to portray a 'moderate' image of Islam but the world should first of all care to know what the majority of Muslims in this world thinks of these 'pseudo' and fake 'Islamists': The majority of Muslims believe they are traitors. The Muslim world is waiting for its 'revolutionary' age and it will come with such force that even the most sophisticated technological advantages the US has will not be sufficient to prevent the deluge. Why? That is because when people decide to ravage the land with their anger, there is nothing, not even the callous and murderous acts of people like George W. Bush and Tony Blair to stop them. Afghanistan is the perfect example of the deficient and outrageously outdated tactics of the North Atlantic Treaty Organization (Nato) in the land of the Muslim combatants. Should the westerners accept such facts and decide to really talk to the Mujahideen across the world, then only perhaps there will be a chance for real peace. But when Obama claims that He will change the World on His terms and on that of America's 'wisdom', doomed are the people who are supposedly 'bridging' the gap between Islam and the west. Hola! Ok, I believe that you are free to say what you want here, but you have to be careful about history, 50 years ago, America did noth know many things about the outside world. The efforts of Muslims should depend on minds rather than emotions. I think you agree with me on this point. Muslims have to change in order to change others. This is what I am calling for. Thank you for your message to me, I will be delighted to converse with you in a logical discussion.
written by mike magnus, November 26, 2008 What changes you want Muslims to make ? How are the Muslims or Islam a threat to world peace, harmony and progress ? Who is the terrorist and who is the terrified ? I agree with Brother Kazi’s forthrightness. US will never change ! ( with the present puppeteers pulling the strings ) As far as many are concern whether its Bush or Obama, Republicans or Democrats, they ALL report to the same Boss. This Boss/es are evil, greedy, bloodthirsty and want to rule the world ! They thrive on wars and to achieve their evil intentions, will not hesitate to put waste to human lives, whether their own citizens or others ! Obama..... frankly ....don’t expect much changes…at best ..status quo !… Provided the Boss agree ! If Obama tries to do a ‘ Vietnam “ he will end up like the kennedy brothers. This my 2 cent contribution. .... Write comment

A gold mania could happen.
Here's why... Gold manias begin when investors flee real estate, currencies, bonds, and stocks because their prospects are so bleak. We're close to that right now.

LAHORE, Pakistan — When Muhammad Saad Iqbal arrived home here in August after more than six years in American custody, including five at the military prison at Guantánamo Bay, Cuba, he had difficulty walking, his left ear was severely infected, and he was dependent on a cocktail of antibiotics and antidepressants.

I will not mention in my article the international disputes created by USA and Europe, instead, I talk as an American who witnessed change in Obama election. I am describing the two political parties dealing with America's problems in the past twenty or more years. At least, let's give America the chance to go back to moral ehics in dealing with international big issues. Let's give the new president sometime to make the change. You don't have to be attacking the USA for looking to achieve its national goals. I wish Muslims and Arabs learn the lesson and begin planning for the future, instead of waisting time and resources on developing buildings and hotels instead of building national identity rather than personal wealth. The new generations are far from including themselves in modern technological age. Identity loss cannot be restored in a short time. I guess. (hasanyahya.com)
