Human Rights abuses – which are a plenty in China – and lack of civil liberties will not stop the Olympics from taking place and this is so because the western world, supposedly the champions of rights and liberties, have eaten the same rights and liberties to stage the most foolish and expensive of wars with their war against Islam. ![]() Bird Nest Stadium The western world coup against Beijing, staged from day one the Chinese won the contest to host the Olympic Games, has failed. China is going ahead with the games and the more so without taking heed of the menacing west’s antics of boycotts. At the end of the day, China wins despite its shortcomings and the west loses due to its greed. China will take pride in its ‘Games’ and will surely attempt at winning more gold and silver medals than it ever did before in the Olympics. It has the capacity to do so since it has a wide range of qualified athletes who can tackle the best Olympians from across the world. It has also built – despite criticism from the west – the finest most modern stadiums for the great event with some of the most beautiful and in some cases awkward looking architecture. There is no doubt that in Beijing and in surrounding cities and towns the Olympics are viewed as a moment of truth for China. To the billion and half of Chinese countrymen the Olympic Games represent the new form of Chinese conquest of what has always been ‘western’. Nevertheless, the western world threw the Dalai Lama – so called man of peace – in the fray to try derailing Beijing’s plans for the great Game. The western media and the US in particular with Britain kowtowing behind like the tuk-tuks in Thailand pulling their passengers in pain, pushed the Dalai Lama to press China to relinquish its control of Tibet. Days of scuffle and rampage in Tibet resulted in the deaths of many people, mostly innocents, who felled victim not of the Chinese army and police random shootings but rather of the political ploy by Washington to tarnish the Chinese Olympics Games.
The politicizing of the Olympics as mentioned earlier was a protracted battle that started right from day one when the Chinese nation was granted the honor to host the great Games. While a more democratic Olympic committee could not stop the massive votes in favor of China, the British had hoped it was their Games in 2008; the west had its plans drawn from then on. France entered the bandwagon of countries that wanted to boycott the Games by not sending its athletes to compete in Beijing. The US pondered on the proposals by the French but finally said they would not do that. The US presidency wanted to go to Beijing to show support for the greatness of China but recently the Bush administration felt shy. It tried to press the hands of the Chinese by receiving Chinese dissidents at the White House. The Chinese government criticized the move but Bush quickly said he will still be at the Games. Why has the west failed in its plots to demonize the Chinese Olympics with global warming fears, suffocating air warnings and political rhetoric’s against the Chinese communist party and so on? That is because China is a bigger economic partner to the west than it has been in the past. It’s the money idiots, that has kept the west to remain under water for most of the time and to only issue missives that looked more like ‘press releases’ against China’s Beijing Olympics. China has indeed defeated the westerners with its grandiose spending and its unlimited efforts to ensure that the games are a success. Well success will surely depend on how the games end but that is another story. China is an economic powerhouse that plays its role in symbiosis of its needs. It is not greedy like the western world and is not ready to invade nations with lies and fabricated evidences. It is also not willing to open its doors wider than necessary for the games because it believes in covering its shame and errors by controlling the media and the visitors. Indeed, China is clever enough to raise the specter of terrorism and anti-Chinese elements or Muslim extremism to up the level of security and make visas hard to get. This is one of the steps taken by the Chinese regime to ensure that rogue elements from the western world does not get to enter the country and roam freely to instigate dissidents and tie up alliances with the dissidents. When the Olympics 2008 opens, it will be the coronation of China as the dominant nation in the Asian region. China’s nuclear capabilities and its vast army did not impress the rest of Asia hence it needs to politicize the Olympics its own way in order to tell the Asians and the World in general that China is a powerful nation. ![]() Square stadium? Unlike Germany when it held the Berlin Olympics in 1936 when Adolf Hitler was the ruler of the country, the Chinese does not have a dictator or a military junta in power. It is expecting Bush, the leader of the western world to come and bless its ascension, its rise as a modern state in a global world. Using Bush to impress the Asians is worth the try because Bush is after all the President of the rogue western world that attacks, invades and kills to achieve its aims. If such a rude and demoniac barbarian can be in Beijing for the opening of the games, then nothing can stop China from compelling the west and the rest to eat from its hands. Maybe after the Olympics, the Chinese authorities would want to organize yet another world event in Beijing. Perhaps the World Cup will do? Comments (0)

A gold mania could happen.
Here's why... Gold manias begin when investors flee real estate, currencies, bonds, and stocks because their prospects are so bleak. We're close to that right now.
