Bush and Blair ruled like warmongers

President George W. Bush is facing the brunt of his own political misfits with the failure of his fake democratic agenda now confirmed. However, in the U.S. the Republican Party regime has given the perception that Bush was right in pushing for the fake democracy across the Muslim world. America itself does not have a true democracy since Bush took power sending waves of deep concern across the world while the Muslim world is progressing on several lines.

In fact, the truth is far from what the editors of U.S. newspapers and magazines are saying. America is currently at a loss with its own democracy violated and hijacked. The Muslim world has made increased push towards a more democratic system in their societies. Look at Turkey where the Islamists are using democracy as a tool to reverse military dictatorship while in Indonesia, democracy is entrenching itself deeper with Islam as the root element!

In Malaysia, the opposition is campaigning for press freedom and for the respect of the rights of the country’s individuals and communities. They have a head start on these issues while in the cyber space; Malaysians are making their mark in proving that freedom of expression can be earned while government control of the media is waning.

In India, Mauritius and the United Kingdom, the Muslim communities – though they are minorities – are keeping democratic traditions alive. They do not need the leadership of the U.S. in maintaining these democratic beliefs and practices and this is one of the main reasons why the fake Bush agenda has unraveled and is failing lamentably.

Bush told the American people, the Republican Party leaders essentially and the Neo-Conservatives privately, that he had committed his presidency to working toward the goal of "ending tyranny in our world," He failed lamentably in this objective because he was not genuine and his sincerity was no where there. The reality was that Bush and his peers as well as his sponsors from the Neo-Cons groupings in the U.S. alongside the Jewish lobby were pushing for America’s tyranny to rule the Islamic world and subject the Muslims to western domination.

Bush was never interested in the march towards freedom in the Muslim world. He was always after the imposition of his ideals, that of a drunkard and a morally unstable man, on a world that cherishes better values that the simplistic values of American democracy.

In the world of today, there are too many countries that values democracy more than the Americans and this has altogether been the second factor that caused the crashing of the Bush agenda.

It is reported that Bush lamented to opposition leaders of authoritarian regimes that his own bureaucratic system – the establishment fools! – has stalled his push for freedom in the Islamic lands. While he may think that he is the male version of ‘Joan of Ark’ and that he should have been wearing wigs and carrying a sword with obvious Christian insignia on the blade, Bush is not a hero. Neither alive nor even when dead, Bush Jr. will never be a hero like John Wayne, who unfortunately for the U.S. was only a big screen character. In real life, the Americans do not have a hero and the only one that we can point to in the classic terms of heroism is the dead and buried John F. Kennedy.

America is at flipping times, with the book of history turning its pages and Bush’s time waning rapidly. Bush will learn sooner than later that he was just the pawn of a dirty game in which he played the role of the puppet. His image, his name and that of his family will for ever be dirty and will be known as the greatest enemy of Islam in modern times. He has realized that indeed and that is why he is trying to make a U-turn ala Tony Blair who is now wearing the wigs of deception.

The U.S. President, seen as the worst president in American history and the most unpopular one altogether, is probably dreaming that his presidency was one of total personal dominance over America. This too will prove to be untrue when historians all over the world dissect Bush and his rule before sending him in the dustbin of history itself. A president who has faltered in everything does not have to think twice to know that he is rejected in most parts of the world and is now the reject of an American society that has failed in its support of a warmonger. Bush is a war monger and he will remain as such in the history books. In time his name will only be mentioned for his failure to grab the realities surrounding the times that he became president of the most powerful nation on earth.

In Iraq, the Bush administration is supporting a vile regime put in place by a sham election that should not have been recognized by the U.N. or by the rest of the world. No elections can be deemed right and peaceful in a country that is torn apart with wars and dissention. Bush did not bring democracy to Iraq. He brought disaster and murders accompanied by sectarian violence and a possible dislocation of the state of Iraq in the future. Bush has also failed, along with his generals, to prevent the rise of the same Islamic groups he targeted in the aftermath of the 911 events. He also failed to prevent Afghanistan from falling into anarchy and has led Pakistan into terror with a government that kills its own people.

The great need for revenge for the 911 events – a planned event indeed – was to kill more Muslims across the world. The Americans are doing that in Iraq where they are killing young Muslims who are opposed to the American and western presence in their country. They are accused of being anti-Iraqi and pro-terrorism and this is the true face of the Bush administration. This is the face of a nation in desperation that is trying to salvage its ‘democracy’ by imposing bloodshed and division in the Islamic world.

Recently, Bush vowed to order U.S. ambassadors located in the countries supported by America for their anti-Islamic rhetoric’s and policies to meet with dissidents. He said he  has created a fund to help embattled human rights defenders and this fund is sourced from countries and companies that are supporting Bush in his anti-Islamic outrage.

But the State Department did not send out the cable directing ambassadors to sit down with dissidents until two months later. And to this day, not a nickel has been transferred to the fund he touted, wrote the Washington Post.

Two and a half years after Bush pledged in his second inaugural address to spread democracy around the world, the grand project has bogged down in a bureaucratic and geopolitical morass, said the Washington Post again. But the Post is just trying to divert the attention of the Americans from the truth. They are not going to let the people figure the truth out by themselves hence the Washington newspaper is camouflaging the stupidity of Bush and his administration into a heroic act.

The truth is that the Bush administration is part and parcel of the American establishment and this establishment is controlled by the Neo-Cons. The Neo-Cons from the Project of New American Century (PNAC) directs the establishment on what to do when Bush gives an order. They would not stop the funds to go into the hands of anti-Islamic activists but they would prevent the Muslims in countries like Egypt or Malaysia and Syria or Saudi Arabia to get the funds – if they exist. The reason being that these Muslims are not pro-American and they are not in favor of America’s democratic follies. They are Muslims who want to reverse the trends in the Arab world where dictators and imposters have been supplied arms and given military support to maintain ‘undemocratic’ regimes. The Bush administration supported these regimes from day one of his seating at the White House and today he is in no position to deny this.

Bush says his goal of "ending tyranny" will take many generations, and he aims to institutionalize it as U.S. policy no matter who follows him in the White House. Unfortunately for Bush, it is too late and what he does in the future will be far too little to accommodate his attempt at leaving some sort of good legacies to the Americans. He is a looser and as a looser one cannot leave legacies. Bush will leave a trail of blood bath and strangely enough, a sense of joy when he leaves office for good!

A WF EXCLUSIVE: It is the Occupation, stupid
The writer is a former Secretary Interior. This is an exclusive article for WorldFutures. Pakistan: Nov 2008 =

US President-elect in his victory speech bracketed financial crisis with the two wars to define crucial challenges calling for immediate action on his part. This reflects his sagacity which manifests his worldview etc. It is an open secret that while Iraq is comparatively quiet, thanks to Gen Petraeus’ initiatives, Afghanistan has become a quagmire for US. The current Administration, which exploited the fear-complex provoked by 9/11, remains bogged down. While maintaining hostile posturing and invoking EU’ bigger deployment of troops, the increasing casualties appear to have brought in the Saudi King to ingratiate the Taliban.

MiddleEast Conflict
US Antiballistic missile in Israel a world threat
The real threat is what motivated the US to install such systems in Israel. Does it intend to use Israel as stepping stone to launch 'conquests' in the Middle East and prevent the future natural 'democratic' processes from operating, such as in Palestine where the Hamas won an elections but was 'ousted' in a US sponsored and Israeli supported Coup?
Islam
The Haj. a unique pilgrimage
The Haj season is here. It is a unique pilgrimage with various fascets and all of them are as amazing and as mystical as it can get. Muslims performs the Haj at least once in their lifetime. It is one of the five pillars of Islam and some 2 to 3 million Muslims will be at Makka for the Haj.

Image Analysis: The War in Afghanistan and Pakistan
History also bears out that the Afghans can’t tolerate ‘occupation’. No wonder since 2006 the Taliban have been on the rampage. Even Kabul remains tentatively safe. During my last visit home to Peshawar, I was met by a few Afghans who told me of the reign of terror prevailing in Jalalabad, Paktia and Kabul etc as the state machinery/ foreign forces   could not cope with prevailing mayhem. The spill-over effect of Afghan ‘insurgency’ is   widely felt in Pakistan; more so in NWFP/ Baluchistan. History and geography combine to create challenges which the elected Govt and its armed forces have to face daily.

The Asian Human Rights Commission (AHRC) has received information that Dr. Afia Siddiqui, was arrested along with her three children by a Pakistani intelligence agency in early 2003 and has been missing since then. American and Pakistani intelligence agencies confirmed that she had been arrested in connection with Al-Qaeda, the terrorist organisation run by Osama Bin Laden. However, later both agencies denied that she had been arrested. Dr. Afia's whereabouts remain unknown but it is suspected that she is being held in an American detention centre.

Very few people in Jakarta commented on the 'rising' sentiments towards the bombers but deep inside many think the bombers – especially Imam Samudra – went to the extent of bombing Bali due to their rigid beliefs regarding 'Maksyat' or illicit life styles.

From Hamas to Kenya, roughing up democracy
From Hamas to Kenya, roughing up democracy

The American constitution, the basis of democracy in the USA is indeed a good example of how a democratic system can be hijacked by a group of people with an evil agenda. Democracy is violated in Kenya too where Kenya's opposition movement, which is challenging the election in December that Kenya's president, Mwai Kibaki, narrowly won. In Palestine, the legitimate government is now being suffocated...What democracy is it?
